Almost. One more sleep. I’m looking forward to it as much as Fraser is. We’re off to Homebush tomorrow morning for the afternoon show. I hope to fit in a quick whip around IKEA afterwards before heading back home again.
Lincoln is finally back to good health. It took him a week and a half to shake whatever he had. I was so exhausted from lack of sleep and worry that I’m relishing our return to sleeping through all night. We did meet with the new doctor and yes, he was great. He listened to my observations and after asking some pertinent questions he agreed that Lincoln must be getting asthma. He prescribed a Seretide puffer for use when I anticipate wheezing, printed out some management plans, and agreed that the Flu vax was a good idea. I’ll monitor Lincoln over the next month or so and see if the Seretide makes a difference. He’s well at the moment so I don’t need to use it but I’ll wait and see what happens when he gets the next cold.
Mother’s day was very pleasant. Matt and the boys brought me tea and toast in bed. Fraser had made me a card at school that said I was a “good good gardener” and he’d bought chocolates and a pair of earrings from the Mother’s Day stall. They also gave me a hair straightener and a shiny ice crushing blender that Matt had bought.
Well, it’s time to get back to the IKEA catalogue.
