We’ve had a good weekend this week. On Friday Fraser and I went up to Sydney for the day for a picnic in Hyde Park. We met up with some friends and babies. Apart from a few tanties from Fraser we had a pleasant day. He chased some birds, played catch with the token male at the picnic, and we ate birthday cake, (thanks Bindy!).
On Saturday the boys had some time out together. There’s a Thomas the Tank Engine exhibit on at the National Museum in Canberra until next weekend so off they went. I finished knitting the soaker I put down ages ago – just need to stitch up the sides and rib the leg holes – did some cleaning and washing, and watched the rest of our recorded Prison Break episodes.
I’ve done a bit more tidying up today and have started making lists of things I need to get done before Zoid. Eg. Sew some new sheets for the hammock, make and freeze some batches of soup, cut up some nappy liners out of polar fleece, sew up some wipes out of old towel.
And just for those who are keen for proof… ;)
Here’s a pic of the back dam that has never been this full in the 2 years we’ve been here. Things are browning off again a bit now but it’s still pretty green in this photo.
