Spring has sprung

It’s the second official day of spring today. The sheep are being sheared, the paddocks are green, bees are buzzing and all the chooks are laying. We’ve turned the heating off and got around the house in shorts and t-shirts.

Things are sprouting in the vege patch but it looks like grass so far. Errant grass seeds in the garden mix I suppose.

Had a nice dinner tonight. BBQ’d fish with lime juice and cajun seasoning, baked parmesan potatos and salad. Followed by mars bar mudcake.

Yum yum.

  1. What an amazing picture of Fraser! It’s crazy, John and I were just talking this morning about how much we used to love licking the spoons and bowls and mixers. Fraser looks as happy as can be, I love that ring of chocolate around his mouth. :)

  2. Hi there, I got your blog address from your signature at EB.

I really love this photo, do you plan on scrapping it? I think it would look amazing.

I also just read about your good news. Congratulations.
