Hank: Uh, hi, Homer. What can I do for you? Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks. Hank: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn’t I think of that? Hammocks! Homer, there’s four places. There’s the Hammock Hut, that’s on third. Homer: Uh-huh. Hank: There’s Hammocks-R-Us, that’s on third too. You got Put-Your-Butt-There… Homer: Mm-Hmm. Hank: That’s on third. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot… Matter of fact, they’re all in the same complex; it’s the hammock complex on third. Homer: Ohhhh, the hammock district. Hank: That’s right. |
The hammock is ordered. Decided to go with the blue as I like blue anyway, and it won’t matter if we have a girl at some point as we can always use cutesy sheets. We get the frame, spring, sling, carry bag, and 2 plain blue fitted sheets. Might have to buy or make some extra bassinette size sheets also.
Bindy and I think we’ll use the fireman fabric blocks that I bought at a craft show a few months ago, to make a nappy stacker or a quilt.
I rang the receptionist at the ob/gyn office re my doctor’s certificate for maternity leave. She said to ask her for it when I arrive for my next appointment and she’ll have it typed up by the time I’m finished.
Popped into the childcare centre in the apartment complex yesterday. Was hoping to pick up an application form but I didnt see anyone around that looked useful so I just picked up a government childcare benefit brochure and wandered back out. I’ll go back again next week I think.
