Fraser turned six last Friday. I offered to cook whatever he’d like for dinner, so spaghetti it was. On Saturday we went down to Canberra and met up with second-cousin Harrison to go rock climbing. While the big boys and dads climbed, the mums took the little boys to the play centre. Lincoln and Mackenzie had a great time playing with, and getting to know each other.
Sunday was party day. Fraser eagerly awaited guests and grandparents while I iced and decorated his racing car cakes. The weather had been poor all week so the wet lawn was ankle high and the rain continued drizzling but that didn’t bother the kids. Most were outside playing with the billy cart, in the fort or playing totem tennis. Little cousin Lily played with the wooden Thomas trains and Lincoln and Ruby played with cars.
The house looked like a cyclone had been through it but it was a fun day, and nice to catch up with family and friends. I’m glad the cleaning fairies are back tomorrow.
