Whacky-doo

Matt bought me a whipper snipper yesterday. Our first powered yard tool! We whacked alot of weeds this morning but there is alot more to do. We still need a mower but I am much happier knowing that I can clean up and minimise snake hidey-holes.
After weed-whacking we went up to Marulan to the farmer’s market and car-boot sale that was on. UNfortunately there were only a few stalls and nothing terribly exciting to look at.

My seed potatoes have sprouted and my snow peas are doing well. I should put some photos up. None of the seeds I planted ages ago sprouted. I think the dodgy potting mix was too dodgy. My gaura plants are really coming along though.

I’m *still* waiting to hear about the chooks!!! Have you got photos online of the ‘new’ garden? When I was there the house was so new and it was unfenced and a drought, it must look so different now.
