I’ve made a nice little sitting area on the front verandah. I relocated a couple of the outdoor chairs out there next to the little table and gnomes. I had my lunch out there and I can’t believe it’s the first time I’ve done that.

Chook update
My hens are Malay Game. I have been letting them out during the day since Wednesday. So far, they haven’t been very adventurous. Perhaps because it is too hot and they prefer the shade of their shed.
I have 3/4 walls painted in Fraser’s new room.

Thanks to Aunty Janey’s help Fraser can say a bunch of new words. Since Christmas eve he picked up bath, cheese, please, Bob [the builder], and cool.

Merry Christmas
Christmas morning was exactly as I had hoped. Fraser got up and we came out to the living room window. Santa had left the swing set and Fraser was a little baffled, I think.
